louvered wall vents and roof vents. Yet, because of the
exciting architectural interest that a
cupola can lend to the top of a building, it has become
more popular than ever before. A handsome handcrafted
cupola surmounted by a fashionable weathervane may be
truly characterized as roof jewelry.

Our
thoughtfully-designed cupolas feature premium grade wood
construction and your choice of either an aluminum or copper clad
roof. Each copula is equipped with a number of standard features that
are truly exceptional:

Beauty. High-quality
adhesive and strategically placed fasteners secure the roof
strips and panels, ensuring clean, attractive sight lines.
2. Increased
Ventilation. Louvers increase ventilation
and allow your home to breathe by drawing out hot air in the
summer and moist air in the winter.
3. Strength.
Specially-designed structural locator blocks secure the
cupola base and tower, ensuring an accurate, secure fit.
4. Durability:
High-quality galvanized and coated steel fasteners,
stainless steel fasteners, and copper nails are used in
construction for long-term durability.
5. Installation
Ease: All screws required for installation, both high-quality brass or zinc-coated, along with easy-to-follow
instructions are shipped with every unit.
6. High-Quality
Weathervanes: Available with special bases
specifically designed for Accent Millworks cupolas.
7. Outstanding
Stability: Specially-routed internal ridge post
stabilizes cupola roof and adds strength for attaching a
weathervane.
8. Thicker
Roof Rafters: Strong, thick roof rafters hold the
roof panels, metal panels, and weathervanes securely in
place.
9. Wrap-Around
Corner Design: Strong corners feature an improved
wrap-around design for a simple, attractive fold.
10. Screen
Installation: An insect screen for the inside of
the louvers allows ventilation while helping to prevent
insect infiltration.

| Bradley
Cupolas are the best designed, best built cupolas one can
buy, yet at an affordable price. |
| Crafted
from solid redwood and decked with either a long-lasting
aluminum or copper roof, the cupola requires little or no
maintenance (may be painted or stained). All Bradley
Cupolas are equipped with an insect screen inside the
louvers, allowing ventilation while helping to prevent
insect infiltration. |
| Priming
Base Unit. |
| If
you plan on painting the cupola base, you may either prime
it yourself or opt to have it primed when crafted. The
cost is $50.00. Staining and sealing is not available. |
| Clear
Coating Copper Roof. |
| The
initial condition of the copper is bright and new looking.
When exposed to the elements, copper will turn black,
finally changing to a green
patina created; the latter results from a crust of copper
sulfate or copper chloride formed on the surface. If your
preference is the new copper look verses the green patina,
you may wish to seal the roof with a water borne urethane.
The coating is flexible with 25-30% elasticity to prevent
cracking and, hence, exposure to the elements. The cost is
$40.00 for smaller units for buildings 20' wide and
smaller and $50.00 for larger ones. |
